Do you keep the original video?
No. AfterScroll downloads briefly, extracts a thumbnail and the useful text, then deletes the file. You keep the extract after the scroll — not the clip.
Is my library private?
Yes. Every saved item is owned by your account. Other users cannot access your items.
What happens if extraction fails?
You'll see a clear message in the app — for example if the video is private, deleted, or from an unsupported link — and you can retry.
Which languages are supported?
Spoken audio works across many languages. On-screen text recognition in this version works best with English overlays.
Is there a mobile app?
The web app is available now. Native Android and iOS apps are planned.
